Lady Aravis, sometimes called Aravis Tarkheena
07 August 2007 @ 11:53 pm
Aravis hadn't returned to her room until after eleven (11:04, to be exact), and had immediately laid down on her bed with a cool cloth over her eyes.

She was determined that tomorrow she'd stay out later, or sleep in a common room. But tonight, her eyes hurt too much. Possibly this had been aggravated by wandering around with a veil on, trying to see people through it. Never let it be said that Aravis took the smart option when there was a harder way to do something.

In any instance, she was perfectly content to lie on her bed, listening to the radio and thinking about her conversations with Gavin and Hermione.

Aravis was a little bit horrified by her phone, as she had been receiving odd messages all day.

First there was Naminé, which she had replied to after some confusion.

Then there was a man who she know, but she called him back, too.

And then there was what she had thought sounded like the tall boy from the library, but it was a very confusing message. She returned it nonetheless.

And then there was the last message. Aravis stared at her phone, and then turned and stared at the puppy sitting on her bed.

She's just going to keep staring for awhile.

Aravis was snug and warm in her bed.

It was really unfortunate how she'd gotten in somewhat late, and missed the extra body in the room. Or, well, not missed exactly, but she had been discreet enough not to wake everyone with a poorly timed "What's all this now?"

Sadly though this meant that Aravis had no idea why it was, then, that when she opened her eyes, she saw a horse. She barely refrained from shrieking, and only because, well, it was a horse. She liked horses.

"...I'm going to kill him," she murmured into her pillow. "Karal, there's a horse in our room. Worry not, I know someone who can change it back into a pillow or book or whatever it was, and then I'll go take care of the person who put it here."

[for the roomie, natch, and great SP justice!]
